The Cesar A. Perales (CAP) Leadership Institute cultivates the next generation of Latinx leaders through free and affordable programs that increase the pipeline to law school for Latinx and other underrepresented students, fosters awareness of civil rights and engagement in issues in the service of our communities.

Hundreds of students attend our annual events virtually and in person. Our alumni include prominent Latino judges, attorneys, business leaders, and elected officials.

Law Day

Our annual fair brings together hundreds of aspiring law students with scores of law schools from across the country in the largest law school recruitment fair targeted to Latinx students.

LAWBound™

Week-long boot camp preparing pre-law students for the admissions process, introducing them to legal careers and jumpstarting their professional networks.

Corporate Law Firm Alliance Summer Program (CLASP)

A two-year summer associate program that places talented 1L law students on a successful path into corporate law careers.

Next Generation Líderes (NGL)

Program matching students with attorney mentors and providing events to build knowledge about legal professions.
