- Associate Counsel – SEO: we are seeking to hire an energetic, motivated attorney with a record of commitment to social justice work to join our Southeast Office (SEO) legal team in connection with our Economic Justice work. The Associate Counsel will work on cases and legal advocacy involving administrative agencies, including state and federal court and will assist in all facets of the litigation process from discovery, motion practice, trial and appeal. - Legal Service Coordinator – SEO: the Coordinator will organize the workflow of all Rebuilding Puerto Rico work groups which include the legal team, pro bono volunteer attorneys and pro bono partnerships; and will manage the data and reporting of the project. - Senior Counsel - NYC:We are seeking to hire an experienced litigator with demonstrated commitment and a strong record of public interest and civil rights practice, with experience in complex litigation; minimum of 12 years of post-bar admission litigation practice; bilingual ENG/SPA a plus; the ideal candidate is committed to LJP’s mission, values and goals; is resourceful and innovative, with strategic vision to guide and frame LJP’s litigation and increase LJP’s legal docket; has the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. - Intern with LatinoJustice - We are seeking energetic, motivated law students with a record of commitment to social justice work who have excellent legal, written, research, and communications skills. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus but not required. We are happy to help students obtain academic course credit through school clinical externship programs and/or satisfy pro bono volunteer requirements at school or for bar admission.
