Join Us At Our Events

LatinoJustice PRLDEF fosters Latino leadership through, legal, education and community engagement initiatives. We also host several events throughout the year to honor and bring together some of the best and brightest leaders of the Latino community who support our work.

This year we have a whole slate of special events and activities planned to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our creation.

2012 Key Events and Activities

• June 20- Latina Trailblazers Breakfast
  
  Honoring Latinas, whose professional and community work have advanced and helped create opportunities for the Latino community. Contact us to nominate a candidate.
• July 11- Associates and Alumni Networking Reception
  
  Summer law firm associates and LatinoJustice alumni will come together for an evening of celebration, sharing and networking.
• August 6-10 LAWbound
  
  This weeklong intensive course will offer aspiring law students a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to prepare for attending law school, from submitting a winning application to financing law school.
• Sept. 15 – Oct. 15 LatinoJustice Legacy Tour
  
  LatinoJustice is taking its celebrations on the road, with events in in New York, Florida, DC, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and other locales. Look for announcements in the coming months. Contact us if you’re interested in helping to plan one of these events.
• Oct. 7- LAW Day
  
  This will be the 30th year that LatinoJustice hosts its law fair, which draws law schools from all over the country. If you’re a student or law school interested in participating, contact spatrick@latinojustice.org for information.
• Oct. 25- Annual Awards Gala
  
  For our 40th anniversary year, LatinoJustice will honor individuals and organizations that are relevant to our mission of justice and opportunities for the Latino community. Look for announcements about honorees in the coming weeks. For information, contact dmedina@latinojustice.org.
• Dec. 15- Legacy Leaders Luncheon
  
  After we share with you this year about the many leaders who have positively impacted the Latino community, we’ll bring them together for a luncheon to celebrate and share about their accomplishments.

Throughout the year we’ll reflect on our past accomplishments and the many leaders we’ve helped establish, while looking towards the future and redoubling our Commitment to Justice and Leadership.
