Each year LatinoJustice PRLDEF partners with organizers of the NY International Latino Film Festival to showcase Latino talent within the film industry. Join us this year as we host a special pre-screening of The Dry Land.
Nominated for the 2010 Sundance Grand Jury Prize, The Dry Land is an important film that tells the story of a soldier’s struggle to re-adjust to everyday life after returning home from the war in Iraq. The film stars America Ferrera and Wilmer Valderrama, both of whom will make an appearance at the screening to introduce the film. See the film with us before it opens nationwide!
The screening will be preceded by a pre-show reception where you will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with Associates from NYC firms. Cocktails and hors d’oeurves will be provided. Following the screening, join us for the after party at Kiss and Fly. Free drinks will be provided for one hour at Kiss and Fly. Proceeds from the event support LatinoJustice PRLDEF’s legal pipeline education initiatives.
