The New Jersey Celebrates LatinoJustice cocktail reception brought together close to 400 New Jersey professional and community leaders to celebrate the accomplishments of LatinoJustice PRLDEF and its new President and General Counsel, Juan Cartagena.
Juan, a Jersey City native long recognized as a leading civil rights legal advocate, now heads one of the premier national civil rights organizations defending the rights of Latinos nationwide to work, learn, live and exercise their civic rights. The New Jersey State Assembly and Senate issued a joint proclamation saluting Juan Cartagena's contributions to his community.
We spent the summer solstice at the breathtaking Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City, NJ with political, advocacy and business leaders from New Jersey, New York and Puerto Rico.
Guests turned out from near and far to celebrate the appointment of Juan Cartagena to the position of President and General Counsel of LatinoJustice PRLDEF.
