State of Hate: From Politics to Raids, The Modern Day Lynching of Latinos
Join us for a Lideres Fireside Chat: State of Hate- with Juan Cartagena and Maximo Anguiano on Thursday, January 28th. We'll discuss the historical underpinnings of institutionalized racism in law enforcement and how the violence against Latinos has shaped our culture and upbringing in the United States. Additionally we'll hear about the current state of the Latino community and the impact that anti-Latino rhetoric is having on our community. What do we need and where do we go from here? And how is the millennial generation going to drive this change?
