Employment Agency Abuse Project

Low-wage immigrant workers must frequently rely on employment agencies to find employment, and those agencies generally charge high fees for their services. Unfortunately, agencies often take advantage of and defraud workers. They charge exorbitant fees for unfulfilled services, knowingly place workers in jobs that violate labor laws, and engage in wage theft. The Employment Agency Abuse Project aims to hold agencies accountable for abusive and exploitative practices .
