Our project focuses on key East Coast states and communities, providing community-level education that explains the importance of participating in the Census and how it will impact public funding and representation for the Latino community.

Tools and Workshops
Our bilingual outreach educators conduct local workshops and activities that maximize participation in the Census. They address the fears and barriers that contribute to high Latino undercount rates, and teach about the importance of Census data for public funding, apportionment and the redistricting process.

Become a Local Partner
LatinoJustice PRLDEF is establishing non-partisan, voluntary, community-based committees and region-wide networks to help Latinos be organized, prepared and willing to engage in protecting their communities' voting rights during the 2011-2012 redistricting cycle.
